Augst 2014 - NFM Events at Feildes Weir

 Was great to be back at Feildes Lock yesterday for our NFM event, Sweltering conditions but we were fortunate that the Roach, Perch, Gudgeon and Bleak were still up for a nibble so plenty of action on the whip rods to keep everyone entertained! July 2014 - Fish Bonanza!!

 Busy day down the lake today, setting the rules for for next weeks end of term competition, then working on calculating shotting patterns, then making hair rigs...and that was just the classroom session!! With two hours left we went and wet some lines, putting the hair rigs to use, armed with corn, pellet and luncheon meat.... June 2014 - Red Letter day including First Carp for Eden!

 Back on the rods with young Eden as he cashed in his Xmas present coaching vouchers. This time we moved onto the waggler rods, perfect day, sun was shining, fish were basking but there was still plenty to be had. In just a 2 hour session, not only did Eden net his first ever carp but also backed that up with 8 tench plus roach and hybrids. Till the next time...looking forward to it!
