August 2014 - Ladies Day on the Lake!
Ladies day for WAC yesterday as we were joined by Loz and Angie with Maggie joining us late in the day..and what a day it was! After a slow start for the first hour, we swapped the bait over to our favourite Nash Scopex and Squid Red and within minutes the fishing kicked off ! Congratulations to Angie who was to prove top rod with 7 carp, Loz wasn't to be outdone though with 4 carp, 3 of which broke her previous personal best, the largest weighing in at 17lb 15oz. Maggie showed up for the final part of the session, we thought her luck was out after she lost two carp in quick succession on the float rod, before landing a common carp right on last orders! Add to that all the tench and bream that graced the net and we had one heck of a session. Good times with good company = good stuff!!
