July 2017 - 1st WAC NFM Event of 2017
Saturday, 29th July saw the first of our National Fishing Month events which was held on Carpdell fishery as part of the Cassiobury Farm and Fishery open days. July 2017 - Taster Session Dates for Cassiobury Farm Open Days
Watford Angling Coaches will be running our annual National Fishing Month events as part of the Cassiobury Farm and Fishery Open Days again this year. May 2017 - Rickmansworth Canal Festival
20th & 21st May saw us helping out for the launch of the Canal & River Trust Angling Go Fish campaign for 2017. Event was at Sabey's Pool and was part of the programme for the Rickmansworth Canal Festival, joining the Watford Angling Coaches Team of Paul Forman, Tony Forman and David Brown was fellow Professional Anglers Association, Roger Smith as well as Dick Pilkinton and his team from Tring Anglers. May 2017 - Going on a bug hunt!
Busy day for our students down at Carpdell fishery today. With the main lake occupied it was the perfect time for our AIMS students to start to tackle their environmental module. They need to consider the effects of pollution on food sources, so first things first they needed to understand what lives in our rivers and streams. A pond dipping session soon revealed the extent of what makes up the food chain in these watercourses as they worked to identify...

May 2017 - Limited Fishing but getting results
As the majority of our students are getting close to completing their AIMS course we will be spending a lot of time in the classroom in order to complete their workbooks and assessments. April 2017 - Key Cray strikes again!
Another successful day trip to a local club lake for WAC Coach Paul. NashBait Key Cray doing the business again with this stunning long Mirror that pulled the scales round to 22lb 02oz. Plenty of potential for this fish. Tomorrow we will be setting up the Professional Anglers Association stand at The Big One, and will be there all weekend providing advice to coaches as well as running the prize draw in aid of The Angling Participation fund.
