July 2017 - Quick Overnight Sucsess for WAC Coach Paul

A quick overnighter for some of the Coaching Team at Carpdell fishery between our National Fishing Month events this weekend. Even seasoned fisherman have to question their sanity sometimes as we looked out into the torrential rain which just kept coming! Still such questions are soon answered when there is some action on the rods. David Brown was the first to see the alarms bursting into life as a Tench heralded its arrival, this was followed by Paul Forman who was fishing The Worlds End Swim, catching one of the venues originals, just shy of the 20lb mark, this was then followed by one of the new VS stock at 23lb 08oz. Both fish falling to the ever reliable NashBait 20mm Scopex Squid. Certainly a nice way to conclude the session and despite the lack of sleep, it was time to pack down and move on for the 8am meet up at Boxmoor and District Angling Society.
