Great to see Caleb's hard work over the course finally pay off, he patiently fed a margin spot and using the lift method caught his first ever Carp, at an impressive 24lb, he also becomes the holder of the largest ever fish caught on the Chessbrook course. Hertfordshire CAAG Junior Inter Club Carp Match
The Hertfordshire County Angling Action Group will be hosting the first ever inter-club Junior Carp Pairs Match at Stanborough Lakes on 25th July. The event is being sponsored by the likes of Nash who will be supplying prizes, the winning pair will aso gain entry into this years British Young Carp Angling Championships so plenty of reasons to get involved! June 2012 - Chessbrook Summer Term
Good session again with the lads from Chessbrook, this term they are concentrating on different float methods. the Polaris, lift and pole were all used to outwit Carp to 17lb, Tench and Bream to 5lb plus numerous Roach and Perch. Good work guys.

Hillingdon Council & Angling Project Family Fishing Fun Day

Chessbrook were back with us on the banks for the start of the Summer Term course, great to see the guys from last term back alongside a new participant, Evans. May 2012 - End of Spring Term Course - match
May 2012 - The Chessbrook Spring term Fishing programme ended today with a friendly competition between the lads. First place went to Caleb who notched up a great total of Tench Bream and Perch, 2nd went to Connor with a well deserved surface caught carp weighing in at just over 21lb (pictured), 3rd went to Nathan who gained his place with a mixture of tench and bream. April 2012 - Bumper Easter Trip!
We dont often get time to get together for a few nights fishing, but over the Easter Bank Holiday WAC coaches Dave Paul & Tony, together with Pete managed to do just that and we were awarded with a bumper crop of fish with 18 carp to 26lb+, 4 Perch over the 1.5lb mark including 2 at 2lb as well as Pike & Tench. Jan 2012 - A Real Fresh Start to the new year!
A fresher start to the year than we had hoped for, but 2012 courses are already underway with a 24 hour carp session for the bounceback project followed by a great morning today starting the first Introduction to Angling course of 2012.
