September 2017 - Supporting NFM & CRT at Hayes Canal Festival
Saturday 24th September saw the last of our National Fishing Month events for 2017. We were in Hayes, Hillingdon on behalf of the Canal & River Trust for the Hayes Canal Festival. Over the 5 hour event, the team delivered 30 minute angling taster sessions for 77 participants. Fantastic to get a lot of people their first fish in what can be a tricky venue, but Perch, Roach and a cracking eel were caught. Thanks to all involved, great to see partnerships working so well to deliver this event with coaches and representatives from . Canal & River Trust Angling, Professional Anglers Association, MEM Fisheries, and Angling Trades Association. Finally thanks to the coaching team of Alan Colclough.
