October 2011 - WAC try their hand at flying lessons!

Another great day out for WAC when we took up the request from Hillingdon Council to help out with a mornings angling tuition for 9 service men and women from the RAF. Fishing was tough but the company more than made up for it  and we all had a great time.  Pretty sure that everyone caught, with fish ranging from minnows to a small barbel. The event was held on the River Colne next to Little Britain lakes, run by Hillingdon as a free fishery open to the public. The morning was finished off with a well deserved pie and pint down at the local pub.  Special thanks to Jonathan Wilson from the Angling Development Board and Sam Post from Youth Connexions who answered to our call for extra hands and came down to help us out on the day.
