October 2016 - Coaches trip
For once we had the half term off and decided to make the most of it with a 3 night trip planned. Having recently joined Milton Keynes Angling Association, our chosen venue was Willen Lake. Whilst a few lumping Bream were caught, Carp were our chosen target, a very elusive target they proved to be! We will certainly be making a return to seek our revenge, and with a lake this size its going to be the type of challenge we enjoy, just a case of finding time with the other venues this ticket has to tempt us with!! All was not lost though, over a chat with another club member, photos were shared of Perch that had been caught on the river, with a drop shot kit in the car it didn't take Paul much persuasion to give it a go for a few hours...amazing fishing it proved to be as well! As for the young lad who stopped by I can only apologise that I have forgotten your name, but as promised the photo of you with the Perch is included below
