May 2016 - CAST programme keeps delivering
Another productive session last week as we continue working with the students who attended the taster sessions. Fishing was a little slower to start with but we were regularly catching small chub a species which haven't been visiting the bank for years, slowly but surely as the feed was regularly introduced we also started to persuade some good size Perch and Tench to make errors. We also mixed things up a bit as we look into expanding the programme into the farm with basic animal handling and care. Couldn't pick a better time of year with all the new arrivals!
