October 2015 - Jack & Oliver pass their Level 1 CAST Course
Great to have Jack and Oliver Osler back at the lake to complete their Level 1 CAST accreditation. Both boys have been studying hard since their first session and used the time well to master their knots and fish identification. Fishing was slow due to the unusual absence of small silver fish and Perch on the feed so it was a case of waiting for any of the larger residents such as Bream, Tench and Carp to pick up their hook baits. Congratulations to Oliver with a new personal best in the form of a Common Carp weighing in at 17lb 10oz which was captured in the last few moments of the session. Finally, well done to them both for passing their Level 1 accreditation
