July 2015 - End of Another School Year
The end of another school year saw our programmes draw to their conclusion this week. Congratulations to the students on our 6 week Sportivate course as part of the Dacorum Angling Project. Unfortunately we were 3 students short for the end or programme match due to travel problems with the trains etc. But we had a cracking match, based on a simple 1 point per fish we found ourselves with 4 competitiors on the same points at the finish time, so we carried on with a golden fish finish. Congratulations to David who secured the victory. For 6 of the students, Level 1 CAST certificates were also secured, the remaining 2 are now half way through their Level 2 and we look forward to working with them on the next programme. We will be taking a break during the summer, except for our National Fishing Month events, details of which will follow shortly.
