May 2015 - Tricky Afternoon For Key Stage 3
Tricky afternoon with Keys Stage 3 students Jack & Harry. Bream and tench were feeding heavily on their respective swims turning over the lake bed in their hunt for the pellet, corn and groundbait on offer. This led to many false bites and hookbaits getting quickly covered in silt. But they persevered, honing their skills in identifying line bites and pick ups and managed to catch a fair few. Jack took the honours of largest fish of the session. Also gives us a good opportunity to develop rigs and presentation tactics next week to show how these issues can be overcome.
