April 2015 - First Lesson with Kundan
Lovely to meet Kundan today on a short 2 hour session Westbrook Mere. He finally got to achieve his childhood ambition and have a go at coarse fishing. Today we concentrated on waggler fishing with maggot and squats, so lots to get to grips with in a short space of time but he soon picked up all the essentials such as shotting, knots, casting, plumbing and bait application. Most importantly manged to catch a few as well which given that the silver fishing has been really slow here for a few weeks was an achievement in itself. Looking forward to our next session where his son will be joining us .
