October 2014 - End of Programme Competition - CAST Dacorum Angling Project
The last of our 6 week Cast programme at The Dacourm Angling Project on Boxmoor & District AC Westbrook Mere Lake. To round things off we had a pairs match. First off all congratulations to everyone as all 8 students caught, but special note to the winning pair, Rakeem & Jove. Rakeem caught the first Pike we have seen on the programme and it was a lovely fish to round off a very enjoyable 6 weeks. All students were deservedly awarded with their CAST Level 1 certificate and went away with a fishing kit to ensure that they can carry on with their newly found skills. We will now be working with Herts CSP, Boxmoor & District AS, Druglink & the PCSO team to make sure we can get the funding needed to keep this programme running
